The thing is, the show isn't horrible. It's not one of those musical abortions that leave you sick at musical theater. It's just a profoundly mediocre show...

However, this show is going to make a KILLING in regional and community theater.

I'm afraid I know the reason and it's the same reason Broadway is in the state it is in and the top music in the top 40 sucks. (And why Scott Pilgrim is bombing at the box office and the Kardashians are celebrities.)
