yeah, like I said, I've Been is the hardest for me too because on so many levels it WOULD still work. But unfortunately it's just a matter of placement, and the fact that it would cut the flow of a part of the show that's very solid and fluid right now. If it could be placed somewhere just before or after that whole part, it would be great, but it really can't. I mourn it very much though. Such a gorgeous song, and Brian would rock it SO hardcore it's ridic. :P

I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.

We just got home (Boston) at 9:30 pm. We took the Chinatown bus at 5:30. Its becoming a hike lately... I think I got 2 more shows (South Pacific & Gypsy) and I will take a little hiatus on going to Broadway.

Yeah- It's nice to meet you too Dave & Steve. Chris & I had lunch with Without a Trace prior to the show.. I think you met- WaT- Dave.. He is the guy I introduce to you when were at 2ST. Funny how everytime I go to Broadway to see a hsow.. I am meeting more & more posters here.. sooner or later.. I will ended up meeting you all guys.. lol! so far I met 23 posters already here..

I am still contemplating if I should write my 10/10 Report on Next to Normal. I'll think about it... I am still putting my thoughts on it.. btw..If I will do it . It will be on Monday and I will include our stage door photos with the entire cast..inlcluding the director-MIchael Grief.

BTW- I really did not skim thru the whole page. I just read Dave's review- which is very good. Also- I asked Alice Ripley, Asa Sommers, Aaron Tveit & Brian D'Arcy- if there will be a recording.. they told me today that there is no plans yet. in a kinda uncertain answer...By no means I dont wanna disappoint the fans.. I want a OOBC too! I was with Steve & Dave when I asked this..So correct me if I am wrong guys?

Yeah.. I know I am supposed to see this with you...on your birthday!!! with RyToast & BrianIdol but I chicken out to go to that snowy Saturday morning .. actually it all work-out bec. 2ST was nice to exchange my tixs dates to today..

Damn! That "Let There be Light" song keeps runing thru my head...and Chris keeps humming the tune..and its not helping..lol!

I'll think about it... It does have some stage door photos of ALL THE CAST MEMBERS! (except the guy who played Henry- I might have missed him) I am still thinking of what to write...its not a simple show..very complicated subject matter..If I have nothing better to say .. I wont do it.

btw- speaking of stage door- to the girl we met at after the show...stage dooring..and thanks for taking our group photos.. pm. me and I have something for you! I wont mention her name bec. she wants to remain "anonymous"

thanks! i learn from the master.

and yes there were uncertain answers on the recording. (What if i used the word soundtrack? lol i bet i would be shot) larely it seemed due to scheduling. The director seemed more sure though! he just didn't seem to know when it was going to happen. that should clear it up. three answers directly from the cast eh?

I saw the show this past Wednesday...and I liked it...but I don't think I liked it as much as everyone else on here. Sorry to be a Debbi Downer, but I think some of the lyrics were hokey and that Act 1 dragged on and on. I did not like the daughter. She was "playing" quirky and it turned out to look like she had a twitch or something. NO ONE looks like that when playing the piano! Her movements were all very Spring Awakening while the son's movements were all very Rent. I waited through half of Act 1 for something to happen (it sure did happen) but it took too long to get there. I didn't hate it...the plot twists were great and the singing was amazing. It made me weep a little...but there were just some things that made me think, "I'm enjoying it pretty much, but I want to be LOVING it!!" I just didn't love it!

Wednesday was the last night "Costco" was in it. They took it out Thursday (dark night for them to rehearse the changes) and Friday was the first time without it. And it totally speeds things up. MUCH better.

(As for movements when playing the piano...you obviously couldn't see Mary-Mitchell Campbell at the piano and conducting the show. She is EXTREMELY animated. LOL.)
