I'm Just Gonna Ask - Does Cate Blanchett Stage Door?

I'm seeing a matinee and I'm sure at over 3 hours, she won't be coming out between shows but this is one of those instances I'll hang out in Brooklyn for a few hours until the evening show is over in hopes of seeing her.

This is based solely on my experience at Hetta Gabler at BAM a few years ago, so I have no idea if it's typical or if it's changed since then. But when I saw that show, she walked out of the stage door quickly and paused to sign a couple of things (she signed my playbill). She didn't stop to chat and wouldn't allow pictures.

Hi--the play was wonderful and Cate was terrific! did u enjoy the play and get to see Cate? I was hoping to meet with her also the night I saw the play, but the show ended late and had to go to dinner afterwards. I hope she came out and sign your BAMBill.

Man! I wish I could've seen THAT Hedda Gabler! I just was not a fan of the recent one with Mary Louise Parker (although I love her).
"Somethin's comin', I don't know what it is but it is gonna be great!"
