I'm new to this website...

Hey, i'm kind of new to this site.
I'm thirteen, and i love to listen to the music from avenue Q. Should i see it? A lot of people say it wouldn't be appropriate for me, but i know all the songs already, so it really can't be much "worse", can it?

Hey and welcome to BWW! I hope that you enjoy it! Be sure to check out the FAQ for lots of great tips on the site.

As for the Avenue Q question...it really depends on what you think, if the music doesn't offend you, I don't think the rest of the show will. I know several 12 year olds who have seen the show and have loved it. But it's really up to you in the end. . Once again, welcome!

I'm 13 and I just saw it, but I had been listening it to quite some time.

You might want to consider the fact that you're obviously going to have to go with someone, and they might not deem it appropriate. Just a thought.

It really depends on your maturity and less about your age.

If you can handle the topics (without making fun of them) that you hear in the music, then more than likely you are mature enough to see and enjoy the show.

It truly is a brilliant show!

I'm nearly fifteen and I'm seeing Avenue Q in the summer (on my birthday, in fact) with my family. If you plan on seeing it with a parent or something, just let them know what to expect. My dad's been listening to the OBCR a lot lately (he loves it!) and my mom understands its content, so that way, they aren't surprised when they see it. Maybe let your parents listen to it so that they know what to expect.

That's what my life is like Avenueqx I know like every song to Avenue Q but everybody thinks it is t inapproriate for me.
