Jennifer hope Wilss is going to be giving me and a friend a backstgae tour of the show as an 18th birthday gift for me. My friend has always wanted to see the show but she never has and to go back stage after would be the icing on the cake for her.
I know that the union is going to start its stirke meetings on sunday. That being said, should I see if I can reschedule the tour?
Or should I plan to go and assume that the show is gong to go on.
I just thought ythat by then they would be striking at that point.
What should I do?
If I cannot go I was thinking of dropping her a message at the stage door telling her that I think i need to reschedule it because of the potential stirke.,
And anyways, would the stage hands be involved anyway with me getting a backstage tour.

I would probably assume that you can stll do it that day, and if the worse case scenario comes and the show is cancelled then your friend would most likely be able to schedule it for another day.
And Happy (early) Birthday
Just My 2 Cents
Yeah, I mean everyone with tickets will be offered probably first, to pick another day if possible and then a refund if the show is canceled. Just like any other show right? I think it will be the Thanksgiving Week that will be the riskiest or right before since that is when it will hurt Broadway the most.
. Now some are saying the ten day rule doesn't apply all of the time. Though still no word of a strike approval. Good luck. Even if things fall through, she will know what you set-up for her. That is a kind and thoughtful gesture.

Plan to be there. If there's no show, of course you can then write her and schedule another day. There have been a whole bunch of potenial dates of a strike/lockout, hopefully this one will also not come to be. Have fun on the tour.
Absolutely reschedule it and take that "How To Write Like A Semi-Educated Human Being" course instead. You've waited long enough.
PHANTOM can wait.
