#1I need help selecting a show.
Posted: 7/24/11 at 2:04amI know I've made several posts over the last few days asking for recommendations, but I really just can't decide. I'll be going to New York either the second or third weekend in August and I'm already seeing RENT and Spider-Man but I have time for just one more show and I can't decide! Is there anything playing on Broadway now that absolutely must not be missed? I've really been looking into Follies, Jerusalem, and War Horse, but I'll take any recommendation. Please help me decide! Thank you!

Well, not everyone thinks WarHorse is all that. I really only liked the puppetry (which was indeed stunning). I thought the story was pretty relentless.
Book of Mormon if you are willing to wait in line for SRO with a chance at Rush.
But off our list: I'd reccomend Follies. Ms Peters is a b'way icon not to be missed.

Arguably the saddest thing about it is that LOVELAND set, which, granted, is better than the last revival's abysmal attempt... but it's still several hundred layers below Aronson's breathtaking original.
