"This is a message board."
On that we agree. But I don't understand why it is cool to post incorrect information on a message board. If you told me that if I am running late for the theatre tonight I shouldn't worry because they will happily start it over again when i get there, do you think that's cool too? People come here looking for (correct) information about ticket buying. Many of those people do not want to buy from a broker, for obvious reasons. It is thus pretty important that those people understand that TodaysTix (or Stubhub, or Telecharge, or Ticketmaster) are NOT brokers, and that Broadway.com (and NYTickets et al) ARE brokers. Is that "awfully serious"? No, in the overall scheme of things, it is less serious than being told to take tylenol to cure cancer, but in the message board scheme of things a lot of people do not want to be led astray, and some of them genuinely want to understand the playing field. You said something that was wrong; you were corrected; it is now time for you to lick your wounds and go on to something else, hopefully that you can say with more authority.
