I can see this being a massive seller, the price and the fact they have the return of Lily Savage for Widow Twanky, has just made me REALLY want to buy a ticket!

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!
It will sell out within weeks and with his name attached it will probably get a lot of script input form him too. I am a little worried its a new story for Aladdin and its by the same producers as previous iffy productions in Southampton.
CANT WAIT!

It will get a lot of national press attention to, quite a coup for the theatre.
I just hope they stick with traditional scraipt and dont 'Cinderella' it.
Also hope they have YOUNG leads (Danny Young fresh from Dancing on Ice maybe?!), unlike the 40 year old Prince Charming a couple years back!

If you read it it actually says 'a new adventure for Aladdin' which means no traditional story there- why? -why cant they just do bloody 'Aladdin?!
The short run is the only way they will get the money back they will be paying O'Grady.
Its still made my Sunday complete!
Oh wait its not Sunday its Friday but a Bank Holiday in Spain! yea!

Paul O'Grady did panto last year with Aladdin at Wimbledon and to have Lily return after 5-6 years is good, I think a UK tour or even a West End run with just Lily would be great but I think it's unlikely as he's got a new chatshow coming up and the character has effectively retired plus Paul has had health problems over the year/.

And they are using the same people who did the costumes for Cinderella a few years back... an AMAZING company who have brilliant ideas and designs! (Even if i am a LITTLE biased about this!)
