I have always wondered this . Did anyone on this board pursue or have a career in musical theater ? Or did everyone rather just watch the show instead of be in it lol

I'll be predictably chastised for saying this but there are literally dozens of threads on this topic; the most recent being only a few months ago.
I have split my time between television and theatre pretty evenly dating back to the mid-1990s. Started at Disney in California and eventually moved on to start my own consulting business/firm, which focuses on television but also includes theatrical clients, in NY about 13 years ago.

Quite a few people who post on this board are actively involved in all areas of theater; many are names you would know. For obvious reasons, a lot of the more "notable" posters take pains to keep their privacy.
I'm not a name you would know, but I've worked in New York theater for over 20 years.

I worked Disney, CA, as well, Headband. But as an attractions host. '83-'94.
My experience in theater is limited to singing and plays as a kid, but I cultivate and exercise my love for the theater now as a teacher who, on the side, direct/co-directs "Jr." versions of Broadway musicals at my school.
