Posted: 11/10/03 at 8:00amWell since I'm not "sychopanny2", I am staying. If I "was" "sychopanny" I'd be leaving this board for good. But I'm "not" he/she, so this won't be my last post. And if I "was" him/her I'd really know that I was leaving because people said "bad" things about me and didn't get the "IRONY" of said postings...but it's nice to see this thread brought "back" HORSEY, who I'm SURE grasps the "IRONY" of all this...right?

I really don't know which is funnier, this thread in general or the fact that so many people are taking it seriously. This person has gone out his/her way to make it clear that they are satirizing the Horsey leaving thread and goofing on on all the serious replys that are being posted here. Some of you guys are so gullible. ![]()

Posted: 11/10/03 at 9:01amAnd you wonder why I get annoyed with the *student body* on this board. HOW IS IT POSSIBLE THAT MOST OF YOU DIDN'T "GET" THAT SYNCHO WAS MAKING FUN OF SOME EARLIER "i'M LEAVING THREADS AND BEING SARCASTIC? HOW IS THAT REMOTELY POSSIBLE? There, I'm done yelling. Seriously, how daft are some of you? Did we really need 3 pages for this thread to go on? SAD!

Posted: 11/10/03 at 9:42amGeeze Al, I have some little pills that would help you calm down. A bunch of these guys took the thread seriously, that's amusing. You take their being fooled so seriously and get all upset, that's high blood pressure and a heart attack waiting to happen. Save you're screaming for the jerks that visit here. This whole thing was funny, nothing to go crazy over.

Posted: 11/10/03 at 9:43amRob...you really need to have an adult board if it is such a big deal that someone has to mention about us "kiddies" all of the time! Also...what's the point of sarcastic threads?? That's something we have to limit.

Posted: 11/10/03 at 9:50amYES, Rob, please limit all sarcasm and wit. Let's just keep the board bland and balanced, let's not push any buttons, because Lord knows we can't have "THAT" happening during our discussions. Up with creative censorship! the last post shows us the future of theater, "limit" that which threatens us, keep the hollow and harmless escapism a 'comin!

Posted: 11/10/03 at 9:53amBut when you don't give a hint of sarcasm in a post and then yell at just the teens when adults thought the same thing...that just doesn't seem right to me. Why can't we talk about Broadway on BROADWAY world.com? I really really REALLY think we need an off-topic board! please rob...PLEASE!

Posted: 11/10/03 at 10:01amI'm pretty sure that discussions of the Broadwayworld.com (see, I got it right this time!) message boards on the Broadwayworld.com message boards would technically be completely on topic.

Not to be rude, but when you get older, you will know that "kiddies" need not be taken literally. I say KIDDIES to all my co-workers. And one of them is in her late 60s. It is a figure of speech.

When you say it like that, it is fine...I understand. Say it nicely and I will be nice.
I would still like it if you called us teens or young adults because that is what we are, not kiddies.

Posted: 11/10/03 at 11:15amI just don't get it...you guys probably would not have liked to be called "kiddie," "kiddos," or whatever. You guys probably would never even have been part of a Broadway message forum when you were a teen. You probably didn't even have the internet!

Nope. When I was your age didn't have a computer or a cell phone or a CD player... was "fightin' the revolution"...but what's your point?
Look. There's no real harm in having been taken in...just wounded pride. Learn a lesson about scoping out the big picture (one that I've learned the hard way on more than one occasion), and move on. None of this will matter by tomorrow.

Posted: 11/10/03 at 11:30amI disagree with you comment that this will not matter tomorrow. It will matter a great deal. There are a number of production companies already trying to optionthe rights to a tv mini series. I hera Gwenyth Paltrow is dying to play Sheekala

Posted: 11/10/03 at 11:32amBack when I was a wee lad or "kiddo" we would all carve images and symbols on the wall of our cave by the light of our fire, and sometimes someone would carve a picture some of us didn't like, and then one or two of us would leave the cave...but not forever, because it was dangerous outside of the cave.

Posted: 11/10/03 at 11:34amWe could have had the internet when I was your age but there always seemed to be other things we had to do first, defnding teh cave from sabre tooth tigers, hunting down brontesaurus for dinner, etc, etc
