"I want to smell you, Nick!!"

Sick.
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

'I want to smell you, Nick!!'

I read the word 'onto' and click on that link expecting to read a story of some tweenage girl getting onstage during the show.

'I want to smell you, Nick!!'

I was kind of hoping that's what it was.

'I want to smell you, Nick!!'

There's audio footage of him on "that site" and I'm surprised to say he's actually pretty good. Better than a number of Marius' (cough Peter Lockeyer cough) I've seen.

Agreed. With everything you just said in your post.

'I want to smell you, Nick!!'

My daughter's Jonas phase has largely come and gone, but she was shocked at how good he sounded given the fact that his pop voice these days is seriously whiny.

Kinda reminds me of Marie Osmond in "The King and I." Little Miss Paper Roses and country diva showed off some serious, full-bodied pipes. I was big time impressed.

JoeKV99 - Disney would flip if he did Equus... That would be hysterical.

I just got home from vacation, and the first thing that popped up on my email was the BWW article about this. Seriously, do those fangirls know how creepy they sound?

'I want to smell you, Nick!!'

Yeah, I feel terrible for saying it, but Nick wasn't all that bad from the clips I heard. Bearing in mind that he's seventeen, he has a lot of promise-- if he was in a high school performance, they'd say he was great. It's a pity they had him go on West End at age seventeen, because if they waited like five years, he'd be quite good.

Empty Chairs was too low for his voice, and he had trouble sustaining notes, but his tone was actually quite mature and pleasant to listen to-- especially since he sounds so nasally in his pop music. I liked his fake British accent, too.

'I want to smell you, Nick!!'

Yea, it's odd, he sounds very good on the audio I heard from the show, but when he and his brothers sing it sounds so whiny/tinny/breathy that I cannot stand it.

I still don't want to smell him, though.

'I want to smell you, Nick!!'

When I first heard the audio, I thought for a moment that it actually wasn't him. Overall, I agree that if he waited a couple of years, he'd be much better.

I thought this was about Nick Adams.
