I guess this mean's JLT is not staying?
I thought she did a great job and in many ways helped prove that the show could go on without the OBC.
I haven't seen Megan but have heard good things about her.
Until then, I'll continue to enjoy JLT, who I think has made this role her own.

They've a lot in common, including their Northwest roots. If Megan has had any timing issues, it's because she is a Standby whose lot in life is to go on with a few hours notice. She's new to the game, but has a deep well of talent that will be fully tapped in April. Patience everyone....

I have also heard nothing good about Laura Bell Bundy, and am glad she never got the part.
Somebody told me that the only reason she was hired was because she's sort of a "name" and they new Kristin would be missing more than a hand-full of performances.

"Let the little girl go, and that poor little dog? Dodo." That's my favorite line in the whole show (Wicked). My next favorite line is "Oh! It seems the artichoke is steamed."

Posted: 1/24/05 at 1:37pmLBB was not destined to stay with Wicked. They low-balled her so that she'd move on and that's what she did. Most of the posts I've seen concerning her were not complimentary, so I'm thinking the producers agreed with the audience.

Posted: 1/24/05 at 3:31pmIs it actually official that Megan is taking over? I haven't seen any confirmation of this. I saw LBB as Glinda twice and I must say she was excellent. Better than JLT, in my opinion.

I thought that Idina Menzel was and is prettier than Shoshana.
and : Kristen Chenoweth is prettier than JLT.
