and every show that came on had some kind of Broadway reference. In the commercial breaks, the Old Navy spot with Kristin Chenoweth played in every one. How much money are they paying to make Broadway "relevant" again, and exactly who are "they" in the first place?

and then forty-something people viewed this topic, but no one commented on it. I guess I'm the only one. Pardon me while I pet my three cats....

Perhaps they were talking on the other threads devoted to this topic. No one's paying to make Broadway relevant. Old Navy is paying Chenoweth to be their shill. Good for her. I love their jeans.

OMG wonderwaiter...you made me laugh out loud with her second post...we've all been THERE...you know people are reading, but somehow...they just don't care enough to post a response.

I've seen the Old Navy ad....it plays in our corporate headquarters cafe on a recycle load all day...the high voice is NOT to be ignored.

I was watching fox tonight too and I myself wondered if it was just me or if there seemed to be a lot of bway references. I like the old navy ad, I was so glad to see cheno. Its just coincedential that they kept running the new old navy ad with the 2 back to back seth mcfarlane created shows...he's a broadway fan, thats why he makes alot of musical references even if it seems sometimes that hes bashing things, its cuz he loves them. Family guy has got to be the greatest show ever.

This morning before work, I had the news on. In the half hour I was watching it, there were 2 advertisements on for Bway musicals (Jersey Boys, Woman in White). Props to the powers that be!!!!!

I thought that was her! I heard it and wasn't sure it was or not. Her voice is pretty hard to miss. :)

I saw a picture of her and Aaron Sorkin on the web the other day...is she dating him?

theatregirlie, as far as I know, Aaron Sorkin is still married to his wife of many years, Arlene Sorkin. I could be wrong, somebody update if that's the case!

no she and Sorkin are still dating..I saw them together a couple of weeks ago when she was performing at a gala in La Jolla. And from what I understand, Aaron and his wife have been separated for a couple of years..and the divorce is almost final.
