I hate the show, however, I can possibly imagine a pretty good, creative book writer and an ingenious "twist" to the characters could possibly make for a quite satirical, snarky night of theater! The judges, an allegory for ------what?
The singers, the greek chorus commenting on the action, the fallen hero, blah, blah, blah....

It really has nothing to do with AI the show. It is more about a group of Clay Aiken fans.

I'm (hopefully) seeing it next Saturday. It's their last show in Syracuse before heading down to NYC I believe.

I saw the show up here... and it's really nothing to do with AI. It's about a group of his fans in Stubenville, Ohio who hear about a tour for Clay coming through their town, and try and audition for the opening act... and through trying to make the act... they start to rethink Idol worship, and truly find who they are...

it's a really sweet show.
