Absolutely.
Production wise, the tour is literally a carbon-copy of the Broadway production... so you're not seeing some reduced, scaled-down production.
The cast is now stellar and they have found their groove. Its a 1st National Tour many will be talking about years from now.

Agreed.
No stranger's opinion, on a message board, should determine the fate of your well-earned (?) $50 or $120 or whatever.
If you're interested? Then go for it! It's up to you. But yeah, go see it.

Posted: 11/13/09 at 1:42pmI think ITH is definitely worth seeing. I think it's one of the few newer musicals on Broadway right now that you will be seeing productions of many years from now. Even though much of the music has a very modern stamp on it, the story is so classic in a way. It's very accessible and I think it will live on in community theatres and college performances long after the Broadway production eventually closes.

I just fear the eventual community theatre productions featuring non-Hispanics.
Like all the white high school versions of Once On This Island.
