Wow. Glad I bought my ticket a few weeks ago.
oh man, that blows! Still a pretty good deal though, considering that those seats are not bad AT ALL.

Testing, when did this happen? Right after they announced the award? That's messed up. I saw the show from 7th row center orchestra for 58 dollars back in February. What's the deaaaally yo

Isn't that pretty much what every other show is though?

If you say you saw it for $58 bucks in Feb...that was because it was in previews and the ticket prices are almost never full price until after a show opens
Yes I realize that. Tickets are just too expensive and/or too hard to get for me to see the show again.
i have to buy my ticket friday when i get paid and am a tad outraged that his happened.
Actually, I was visiting Ticketmaster earlier this week, just scrounging about really, no intention of purchasing. IN THE HEIGHTS "regular" ticket price hs been bumped to $120, and the "Premium" seats are going for $300 (not counting weekend performances). It's been like this since before they won the TONY. Good for them, I'm just glad I went back in March. Haha! Best of luck to any future spectators!
Yep, looks like it happened during the Tony Awards, if not... right after... the right side of the Ticketmaster screen still had the old prices, but when you clicked to buy, the price was higher.
i'm glad i saw it off-broadway. i dont even think i paid full price back then.
