If you type in on google "idina menzel as mortica addams" several people have heard a rumor that Idina might be Morticia Addams in the west end production. Is this true? THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!

why the west end production? that's a bit ridiculous. if she wants to do it, do it in her own country..

She did Wicked in London but I don't see her doing The Addams Family.

that was fine, she had a right then, she created the role. but this is crass if they're thinking of bringing her over just for the ****ing addams family which won't even last in london.

I think it is just that a rumor she's said time and again she's only interested in originating new roles, that she wouldn't take over or do a revival so i really really really doubt it.

I think she would make a good morticia, I saw the show and think it would be a good role for her. Though not in west end. When Sarah Gettlefinger leaves the current touring role of Morticia, Idina would make a good fit for the tour. And I don't think TAF would last in London.

She talks sometimes about how much she loved London when she was there in WICKED. This seems like an odd show for her, but The West End isn't a stretch.

Idina is spending just about the whole year touring, beginning in June. She is booked for Carnegie Hall on October 29th. I doubt that she will cancel.
