Idina Menzel concert broadcast tonight on PBS

Heads up: For those of you in Chicago, and maybe elsewhere, Idina (with Josh Groban) will be on Soundstage on PBS tonight at 9 pm central time.

Here's the info from the PBS website:
Tony Award-winning actress-singer Idina Menzel ("Wicked," "Rent") performs selections from her 2008 album "I Stand," duets with Josh Groban on his hit "Awake" and is also joined by saxophonist Ravi Coltrane. Included: "Better to Have Loved"; "Brave"; "Gorgeous"; "My Own Worst Enemy"; "Perfume and Promises."

KQED San Francisco has it listed for 1/18 @ 12am. Not sure if it is on any other time, but there are pictures at the website.

Wow... she looks absolutely gorgeous. And it seems like she has been working on the famous Idina Menzel "gasping." I haven't heard it at all yet.

ok, so this is still her stuff from her tour, right? Its just that they filmed her stop in NY, right?
if so.. did she do a Julia Roberts tribute sorta thing? if so, it was HYSTERICAL live!

it was funny actually.. thank GOD there weren't many fanzels at the concert here in Richmond, infact, there were a TON of middle aged women there

but basically, she did this stint where she talked in her New York accent, had this awful 80's prom dress, sang some songs like that, and said something about Julia Roberts? I don't know, lol it was just funny

I have a feeling that they would not put that on. And wow... Ravi Coltrane made "Perfume and Promises" sound SO much better. Not that it was a horrible song before, but he made it sound better.

I really like Brave.. and my friend who was in our chorus asked what our graduation song should be, I said Brave, she was like, Thats Boring!!!

so, she suggested it and our choir sang it and she got the credit :P

But I was really impressed with her stuff, although there are a few songs I just don't like

I am very surprised that its not airing in SF until Sunday at midnight. Of all the city with a bunch of theater queens I'd assume SF would be on top of the list. On the plus side, in place of it tonight on KQED they have the Great Performances South Pacific @ Carnegie with Brian Stokes Mitchell.

really, Gorgeous is one of my Fav's, especially the acoustic version, I hate "Better to have Loved" HATE it!

I thought she was great. It's too bad they didn't include all of her little stories. That would have made it more than an hour, though, so I understand.
I really liked the song she did with Josh Groban.

I watched it for a bit...I just really don't like her voice. She's the epitome of overrated. She is gorgeous, though!
