Idina's CD

I just bought Idina's new CD... anyone else hear it yet? I like it, but not as much as I had expected too.

ARGH. I'm still waiting for it to be sold online. I heard the entire song of "Here" though and am in love with it.

I just got it and listened to it twice (considering it's so short). It's very different. Is it just me or does her voice sound different? Also, unlike 'Still I Can't Be Still', it doesn't have all that rock.

Overall, I liked it, especially the first song.

I have my books and my poetry to protect me...

I think it seems like she sounds different just because it's not all the belting we're used to hearing from her. I like the first song a lot too.

I also think she is singing higher than on still i can't be still. Her voice doesn't sound as deep and throaty

Just curious...but what vocal part is Idina? I've heard her sing high notes occasionally...but not enough to classify her as a soprano. Does anyone know for sure?

actually NYCbabe i was wondering that too. I think she could be a mezzo/alto( maybe a little biased becasue that's what i am) but i wonder what she classifies herself as??

Why must everything be classified? And Namo if I hear one Republican crack from you, there will be an exorbitant amount of PM from moi to toi.
