When I saw an interview with Idina I heard her say that she would hold onto this job for as long as she could. She was a starving actress for years and so she has a lot of friends to pay back from her starving years. I think Idina is going to stick with Wicked for a long time, and if she is leaving then it isn't by her choice.

no. it's her last day, and people will buy tickets. kristin stuck to her last day, and january 2 is tayes birthday, so maybe she wanted to do her last show on his birthday. and it has been reported as her last day for quite a long time now. it's even on the official site. why is everyone so skeptical? it's reported its her last day so thats what im gonna believe. and idina obviously isn't starving now and she's quite famous, and i'm sure she has a lot of offers. i want you to say that you'll eat your shoe if idina stays on past jan 2. While you seem sure she will be done on 1/2/5, I doubt it.

Contracts on Bway are weird that way.

Side note: the official wicked site says nothing about her closing day. Also, Idina's personal websiate says nothing.

Promise me you'll eat your shoe. Or that you'll take Bernadette Peters out to lunch. SOmething. =)

I am going to the last show. I got center orch Row W.

I think it'll be her last day. She's been working on this show for years. I'm sure she's going to want to work on new projects. It would be nice if she stayed though because Joey McIntyre leaves the same day as her, so it might be great to see her perform with a more experienced actor.

She can extend her contract past Jan 2nd. Unless she has another show lined up, I wouldnt be surprised if she stays longer with Wicked. I dont think that it was reported that Jan 2nd is her last show, it is just when her contract expires.

I have a feeling it will be her last day. On those notices you pick up from the theatre it says that is her last day and I was just there like 2 days ago. It's so hard for her. She's been doing this role for years and she does it so well. I think she should leave, not cuz I dont like her, I love her but if she stays much longer she will probably get tired out and her performance will weaken. Its only natural. And besides she still has more to do with that movie she's working on.

just so you guys don't forget, she has been with the show for over 3 years, it doesn't just start on opening night. and SHE AND TAYE PLAN TO HAVE A BABY SOMETIME! i have an awfully strong feeling that if she weren't in wicked she'd be pregnant right now.

Awww I love babies...and I have a feeling they would have a really cute kid, they're both good looking and have nice features...lol i know this has nothing to do with the post but still, Im happy for anyone whenever they plan to have a baby, its just cute
