Yeah, that is the one.
It is not a very good move though, IMO - odd yes, good, not really.
But, she is funny in it.
I was trying to see if BSO was referring to something else.
But, BSO has been known to joke every now and again.

Wow... you all have some good and bad stuff to say about Idina huh? I know that "Fan Girls" as you referred to them, do scare me too. I mean being a FAN in gerneral kinda scares me. I know that I like Idina- but I would rather be considered a friend then a fan... you know what I mean? I can't believe that people actually go to shows just because they're gonna breathe the same air... But I think Idina is very talented and I would love to work with her. I think that people need to understand that she, and everyone else who is on broadway or in movies, is human... That helps me not go crazy all of the time... But Idina does totally rock.

I think it would be rather sad if anyone showed up at Taye and Andrew's Company's (Hello, awkward wording) show just because Idina said she might be there.
THAT being said, for some reason, I feel like Idina knows that the fact that she said that will encourage some who otherwise wouldn't be interested to come. So they might "bump into" her "accidentally." Or something.

The movie was terrible. Idina's accent was terrible.
The only quality of this movie worthwhile is the nudity.
Sometimes I play the scene on repeat with the sound off.
Just kidding.
(I usually keep the sound on just for laughs)

Posted: 1/30/06 at 3:20pmPeople, People, this is clearly meant to be a beacon for the "teenyboppers." She's TRYING to get them to show up. Plus, have you guys realized that some of these "teenyboppers" have some, shall we say INFLUENTIAL parents?

Spare me the visuals. The bad (German?) accent just makes me want to diiiiie. Di is plugging for her husband. Word of note, Tollbooth Premiere is on one of those nights, so you might not breathe the same air with the second coming if you go then. <33
Is dre.dance in anyway related to Alvin Ailey or are they just performing in the space?
Sorry, my experiences will be limited to the NYC Ballet...sorry Di, this freak will not be there. Unless Taye decides to dance, then that's a different story...

I'm intrigued. Part of me would love to go, but that's just not happening.
Why are we all calling Idina "Di"?
Ehem. And Idina's accent in Just A Kiss was fabulous. Dahg? Like you walk a dahg?

Well, there's NO arguing with YOU about Idina.

Posted: 1/30/06 at 3:42pmYeah, I think it is very cool of Idina to stick up for her husband. She is very devoted wife. I think people need to be pasionate about the shows they are going to see, not just the people... you know...

She is not defending her husband, she is promoting her husband. Which, I have no problem with. The issue is whether there will be people coming to a show which they will have no interest in because they think they might see Idina, which will most likely detract from other's enjoyment.
Maybe it will open some of her fans to other venues and experiences. Maybe they will go and only want to see her. Maybe they saw Taye on Will and Grace and want to see him.

Posted: 1/30/06 at 4:08pmOh sorry... I typed the wrong word. I think its awesome that she is "promoting" her husband...(Sorry) But I totally agree that people should go see a show because they want to- not just because Idina will be there... Yeah that would be awesome to see her, but gosh, seeing a show should be the most important.

Posted: 1/30/06 at 4:49pmI think that anyone who can get a bunch of teenage girls to go see anything other than a big flashy production of Wicked deserves to be commended. Even if their wording is a bit misleading.

Someone asked that one time... I wish I could help you out... I have no idea... Anyone else have any ideas???
Goodluck finding it though.

Posted: 1/30/06 at 8:19pmWell, I'm sure if you wanted to, you could go to Taye's show, follow him and Idina home, and then look at the address. Jsut kidding. Other than that I can't help you. I doubt this would work, but if you sent it to the Gershwin, they might forward her fan stuff to her.

Posted: 1/30/06 at 8:22pmBottom line, I don't think that even the hardcore Idina fans in attendence will be there soley for the purposes of catching a glimpse of her...that would just be ridiculous, and scary. It's modern dance. Music by LaChiusa. But I remember reading before that it was going to be using some of Idina's music (and other people whom I do not recall atm)?

"Listen,
I love Idina.
but some of her fans scare me.
At least we know that if anyone ever tried to assasinate her, there would be 20 teeny boppers jumping in front of that bullet...
and really...that's killing 2 birds with one stone. "
That was the funniest thing I've read all day. Thank you!!!!
