If they were to separate them into categories, Idina is without a doubt the Lead and Kristin would be Featured. It is the story of Elphaba and she has, I believe, 3 (at least 2) solos, while Kristin has 1.
Although if they are both in the same category, I would love to see Idina win. Galinda's part is sooooooo much easier to do acting-wise and it is Elphaba who, in the end, the audience HAS to love and care about without having all the funny lines and slap-stick humor Galinda has to work with. Kristin is flawless, I totally agree, I would just love to see Idina's work rewarded.

Thank you Songsstresss!

Let's get off this whole Kristin v Idina chat. They are both great, Kristin as supporting and Idina as leading, the show is called "WICKED," not "GOOD." It is about the Wicked Witch of the West! By the way, has anyone read "Lost?" It is about the ugly stepsisters in Cinderella. Wow, Gregory Maguire has a creative mind!

Theater anywhere, anytime and with anyone. It's my passion.

Idina & Kristin are above the title and take their bow together, so they will both be put into Best Actress category.

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

I hope they both win. It's imposible for me to pick one over the other and I hope the Tony commitee sees it that way too. Both of them just gave the greatest female performances I have seen since Sutton's, and coming from me that's high praise.

I'm a big Donna Murphy fan as well, and I look forward to seeing Wonderful Town soon, but she already has 2 Tonys and if the recent trend continues, I'd bet on the hot new stars in a new show over the diva in a revival.

Critic Richard Zoglin loves Idina and Kristin and says: "If every musical had a brain, a heart and the courage of 'Wicked,' Broadway really would be a magical place."
