What numbers would you have liked to see her perform? I would probally call the show "Gwen Verdon : Triple Threat." The title says it all, some say the Gwen was one of the first Broadway performers that was associated with the term "triple threat."

The Apaches (Can-Can) *This is the number that started it all!
Whatever Lola Wants (Damn Yankees)
Little Brains, Litte Talent (Damn Yankees)
On The Farm (New Girl In Town)
Ven I Valse (New Girl In Town)
Essie's Vision (Redhead)
Merely Marverlous (Redhead)
Pick-Pocket Tango (Redhead)
If My Friends Could See Me Now (Sweet Charity)
I'm A Brass Band (Sweet Charity)
Where Am I Going? (Sweet Charity)
Roxie (Chicago)
Me And My Baby (Chicago)
Nowadays/Hot Honey Rag (Chicago)

Oh and lets forget Gwen's vocal troubles, and say she had full performing abilities.

What would you have liked to see her perform? I could only wish this really happened.

Good choices. On the Farm is my favorite Gwen number. Period.

Oh boy--I'd love to see her perform them ALL! I guess if I had to pick three from the list, I would pick "If My Friends Could See Me Now", "Pick-Pocket Tango" and "Whatever Lola Wants". or how about one that isn't on the list? "Who's Got the Pain" from Damn Yankees--with an equally young Fosse as her dancing partner?

I would have to say the rarer ones that aren't available on film or videotape anywhere, like the stuff from Redhead and New Girl in Town.

On the DVD, 'Ed Sullivan's Best of Broadway Musicals, Vol 1.", Gwen performs "I'm a Brass Band" from 1966. She's sensational.
