I saw the show yesterday and I wouldn't say I hated it, but I can see how people would find it boring. I wasn't thrilled with any of the songs, which are usually what keeps a musical interesting. I really got into the story and felt that the second act was very moving. I actually think it might have been better as a play and not a musical since I don't feel that the songs really added much.

If I may ask out of curiosity, where were your seats located? (if you got them on TDF)

I didn't get them on TDF.

Sorry, I didn't mean to jump in with nothing to contribute to the op, I just felt the need to comment on the show.
