Does anyone know of websites to look for tickets of sold out shows?
I'm looking for tickets to "The American Pilot" for this Saturday at 2:30
Any help is appreciated! Thanks

The American Pilot is playing the smaller of the two MYC theatres at City Center and with subscribers and advance sales, the performance could well be sold out.

If there are unsold house seats or panic seats for the performance, they ought to start releasing them at 6:00 tonight. Stop by the CC box office.

Thank you for your reply.
I'm from out of state. Should I try calling the box office again tonight?

Scalpers don't usually do off-Broadway, but since MTC is a subscriber based theatre, you will probably have luck with cancellations.

Just show up at the box office a few hours before the show and inquire about student rush (if you're a student) or cancellations.

In answer to all questions, the reply is "yes".

Call them after 6 tonight and the same time tomorrow.

The box office opens at noon on Saturday so stop by.
There may be extra tix floating around and you could buy one off someone. Reread what Munk wrote.

In Stage II seating is general admission. Get in the theatre early and sit in the last row of the center section. There are only 5 rows and the last one sits noticeably higher than the first 4. Clear view of the stage.

I've found that MTC generally releases unsold seats to their City Center shows about 48 hours (or sometimes 72 hours) in advance and they can be bought online. Also, with the case of American Pilot, there is a discount for $34 seats that you can use (it's on Broadwaybox).

I just bought tix for American Pilot a couple of days ago. When I checked last week for tickets for the performance I wanted to see later this week it was sold out, however when I checked again a couple of days ago, I found seats in Row A (it's not general admission) and I was able to use the discount code. This is how I've seen the last several City Center shows. However, if nothing comes up online in the next day or so (weekend performances can sometime be tough) then you can go to the box office and try your luck with the cancellation line.

I'm not totally familiar with the theatre mentioned, but I do know I was able to get standing room seats for a sold out History Boys the afternoon of the show.

There's no standing room for City Center shows (the theaters are tiny).
