You must remember all the same that at the crux of every game is knowing when it's time to leave the table... And it's important to be artful in your exit. No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree. ~Dirty Rotten Scoundrels~
There's a special kind of people known as show people. We live in a world full of dreams. Sometimes we're not too certain what's false and what's real. But we're seldom in doubt about what we feel. ~Curtains~
It is a far, far better thing I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest I go to, than I have ever known. ~A Tale of Two Cities ~
"You won't fight without layers of armor
Suit on up and come brace my sword
You look back when the pieces are missing
Hollowed out hope that no time can restore."
Hmmm... If I was a man, Mark Cohen in RENT. If the show was still running, Princess Elizabeth/Queen Elizabeth I in Rex. If I was an actress/writer instead of just a writer, any role I damn please in a play that I have written. If I chose the role for only one song, a dancehall hostess in Sweet Charity so I could sing "Big Spender." In a play, one of the two interchangeable leads in Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are Dead. In a role that is best suited to my actual abilities, personal assistant to someone who is actually a lead in a Broadway show.

"Grease," the fourth revival of the season, is the worst show in the history of theater and represents an unparalleled assault on Western civilization and its values. - Michael Reidel
So, I'm going to follow the predictability trend I saw further up on this thread and say anyone in RENT or WICKED. Prob my top picks would be Elphaba and Maureen. Christine in Phantom would be awesome but I can't sing that high. Ah, to dream!:)
"Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets."
-Oscar Wilde
Hmmm... I would love to be in Phantom of the Opera (Raoul or Phantom), Beauty and the Beast (Gaston or Beast), but considering I'm 16, that wouldn't happen.
However, I think the role I'd have the best chance at getting (vocally) would be Mark Cohen from RENT.
