Joey isn't the reason that Little Shop closed, honey.
i know :) hahaha
He was just so bad in little shop it was scary
Also he was in RENT, and that hasn't closed.
I think he has proven himself.....that is all I am saying.
I though John Stamos was the show ender.
hamm.. RENT can not close because i didn't see it yet..
It waiting for me :)
I've seen a lot worse on the stage than Joey Fatone!
Melanie Griffith springs to mind.
OMG!!
I saw Melanie Griffith on Broadway on Broadway 2003, and SHE WAS SO BAD!

"who did joey play in little shop?"
Audrey II
Seymore
Joey is not the reason that Little Shop closed - but he didn't help things either. While he may not be worthy of trashing - he certainly isn't worthy of being a lead in a show. I loved certain elements of this production, but it seemed like something was missing - especially after Sills/Butler left. Fatone is no good - but I didn't think the show was going to have a long run on Broadway.
Joey WAS part of the reason little shop closed, if hunter was still there, i think little shop could stay open for at least 3 more mounths

And Melanie Griffith received a rave review (a love letter really) from Ben Brantley in the Times and "Chicago" became a sellout hit again while she was in the cast -- it was a "hot" show again and one of the hardest tickets to get in town. Griffith (awful as she was) was the exact opposite of a show ender -- she was box office magic and created a buzz around the show that lasted long after she left the cast.

I'll see your Melanie Griffith and raise you a David Hasselhoff!
How did she get rave review if she was that bad?
David Hasselhoff..
NO!! WHY DID YOU SAY THAT NAME??
I STILL HAVE NIGHTMARES FROM THAT J&H DVD!!
I said that he wasn't the sole reason the show closed. He certainly contributed - he's very bad.
She's a well-known actress, hell, she could have paid for them.
LOL! Sorry Tiny-toon. His was the first name that popped into my head. :P
OMG, David did ruin JEKYLL AND HYDE for me (even though I cherish the concept recording because of Linda and Anthony *sigh*)
I remember seeing here on B on B 2003. They did a rehearsal with her understudy and she was so M-U-C-H better..

Yes, I was just about to say Dave, he ended that show, just watch that DVD and you will see how horrible he was. Rosie O'Donnell is a horrible producer, most of her shows bomb, may I refer you to Taboo (which was GREAT in London, but she changed it to be more like Rent) and Seussical The Musical.
