2 seats located front row centre are considered the best in the house but not in the orchestra..in the mezzanine! Front row centre in the orchestra is too close to the stage and the orchestra. Front row centre of the mezzanine gives you the best view and sound.
Cast albums are NOT "soundtracks." Live theatre does not use a "soundtrack." If it did, it wouldn't be live theatre!
I host a weekly one-hour radio program featuring cast album selections as well as songs by cabaret, jazz and theatre artists. The program, FRONT ROW CENTRE is heard Sundays 9 to 10 am and also Saturdays from 8 to 9 am (eastern times) on www.proudfm.com
Yeah, front row centre seats aren't great seats. I don't feel like being spit on being anyone either.
"For me, THEATRE is an anticipation, an artistic rush, an emotional banquet, a jubilant appreciation, and an exit hopeful of clearer thought and better worlds."

ANY show: i'd say Caroline, or Change, becauase i can't stop listening to the OBCR, and i'm so amazed that it didn't last longer.
Right now, however, I'd see All Shook Up because Cheyenne is BEAUTIFUL! I would love to sit in the front row JUST so i could get spat on by him! (pardon how creepy that sounded! i'm not a stalker; i swear!)
