But people can say the same thing about other shows, It seems like a lot of people jumped on the i will hate this show, no matter what...
For the first time in years something that was so left of centre arrives on broadway, but most people on these's boards are out for blood...
But if "Disney" bring in another show the same people are jumping up and down screaming there's nothing new..
Can't wait to see it...

I'd say Left Of Center arrives more often than that. But the problem with this piece wasn't that it was Left of Center.
The story--boy with tourette's meets girl and falls in love, and Heaven interferes--is weird, but not the problem. Give the same exact off-center storyline and plot and theme to a Stephen Sondheim, LaChuisa, Jason Robert Brown, Marc Shaiman, Guetell... you know, name your pick. They'd all have been able to craft it better. In Brooks's solo hands, there were simply a couple dozen Musical Theatre 101 things that he seemed to just not be aware of.

I saw it last night (10/19). UGH!! 2 hours of my life that I will NEVER get back. I feel for the actors in this musical. I wouldn't want my name associated with this production.
