Why are parents letting children that young watch In the Heights?

Something about a child that age saying "goddamn" obviously with no idea what it means just isn't right.

I agree with BobbyBubby. I think it's probably appropriate for him to see, but his parents shouldn't let him swear at such a young age. He doesn't know what he's singing about, and his parents probably don't want to explain it to him, so they let him think what he wants to think. He also says "s***" and references condoms and pads in that song. Can't he sing the edits that they use when performing on TV?

That's cute. I don't think its a big deal that he said "goddamn". I'm sure it's not the first time hes heard it. Besides, he could of said a lot of worse things.

Personally, I'm just happy the kid isn't jumping around dressed as a pregnant teen singing "Totally F*CKed." I thought that was totally adorable, something that I would have done at that age to The Wizard of Oz or Sound of Music.
