At the call in August and the most recent NY one they told us that they are looking to launch the tour next fall if I remember correctly.

The Miami call is definitely for this. Lin-Manuel will probably join it, whenever it happens.

I love him, but other than composing, I don't really see what other roles he could play. I really hope he doesn't pull a Topol and play this role well into old age, but I'm afraid that's what might happen.

i don't think lin-manuel is going to be stuck in this role forever. he nursed his baby, he watched it take it's first steps, say it's first words and now he's watched it grow and make a big success out of itself. he's just seeing his baby through.

there's a lot more to lin-manuel miranda than just 'in the heights'.

That excites me although doesn't surprise me. . . I'm not a fan of labeling anyone as a "one trick pony" when they only have "one trick" (if you will) under their belts. Lin-Manuel Miranda is young (woo!) and I cannot wait to see what the future has in store for him.

I think Lin will have a very bright future in composing, not so much in performing.

Lin-Manuel is quite a sought after writer/composer after the success of IN THE HEIGHTS. I'm sure that's the career he will try to exploit the most.

An audition notice for the tour was posted. They're looking to start performances mid-October.
