I saw In Transit during its first week, and then in its second week.. I remember the first time during the song Saturday Night that Erin Mackey's character has a box of Captain Crunch by her couch as she's lamenting her lack of activities on a Saturday evening. Then the second time I noticed the cereal box was gone; it had been replaced by I believe a wine box.
Did anybody see this after opening and remember if the cereal box was ever put back in? It's not an integral part of the scene or anything; I'm just curious.

I saw the show just recently and can report that a bust of Plato is now being used.

I saw the show last Friday and it was a bottle of Tide detergent.

One night, if they just get the prop right... that scene will work!

This is probably the single reason for the show's inability to find its audience.

So sorry you haven't received the correct answer as of yet. So way back in previews it was Captain Crunch (Cap'n Crunch) as well as a glass of wine. We learned that eating captain crunch made it very difficult to sing even though that was how the original story went. Yes, it is based on a true story...as is the majority of the show.
So now, they simply use the wine. It wouldn't be so bad if we actually had time to drink water while we were offstage, however we are still SINGING, while changing clothes offstage so water breaks and bathroom breaks do not happen for the cast. LOL (just a bit of trivia).

Arbender, thanks for your post...
Saw the show last month and couldn't believe how you guys didn't stop going for the entire show...
Shared the comment with Miss Marshall after the same performance...

Yes oh yes you would hear. And if by some miracle you didn't hear I WOULD HOPE YOU WOULD HEAR THE PERSON WASH THEIR HANDS. Lucky for us, we have not had these type of issues in our show, but there have been stories about mics being "open" at the wrong time and the audiences hearing things they maybe did not want to hear. I will admit, I find them hilarious when you catch them. Or when you are backstage and your cast mate runs over to say "dude your mic is on" WHOOPS!!!
ps: MOM, see I actually replied to a message here. Hope this makes you happy. LOL!

Interesting. Not sure BWW is a good place for your mom, heh. Things can get a bit brutal/insensitive on here... as I guess she's figured out by now.

Oh she knows. She reads the boards daily and often times she calls me in the middle of the night asking me if I saw things. LOL, gotta love her. She is just looking out for her baby boy that decided to go into this impossible profession.
She actually called and said "here is a thread that you can reply to" so I did.....
Enjoy your day, and the calm before the storm. So many wonderful things opening in the next few months. Fingers crossed that I will actually get a chance to see some of them. Work keeps us busy. Last thing I saw was Dear Evan Hansen on Opening Night, Before that......... On Your Feet......before that... End Of The Rainbow. Thank goodness for Lincoln Center Library.

Ever since i saw this show, I have been a bit troubled. I usually tend to be a bit (mildly) annoyed by poor grammar and spelling, and then get over it and move on. But In Transit made me realize that i had never before been bothered that the Toronto Maple Leafs are not the Toronto Maple Leaves, even though leaves is the plural of leaf. Now i occasionally find myself wondering why they chose a misspelled name. :-S
Oh, well. Not high on my list of problems, or anything like that. :)
