Whats the big deal about the show? Is the music really a Broadway score? Is it as amazing as everyone says it is? Thanks

Is it appropriate for 15 and 12 year old kids?

I don't see anything wrong with a 15 year old or a 12 year old seeing the show.

I saw it Saturday for my 16th birthday

and there was at least a 10 year old in front of me in a booster seat [his parents explained every little thing to him discreetly]

I haven't seen the show yet but I do have the soundtrack and it is amazing! Everytime I listen to it, which is a lot, I have the need to see it!

I saw it, it was so good! There was about english 4 f***s in the show, but I believe they took all the english ones out. And by that age, they know all about cursing, so definitely take the kids! They'll love it!

To tell you the truth, when I saw it about a week ago, I was thinking the same thing. I just didn't see why everyone thought it was so great. I basically liked the characters Daniela and Carla-the gosiping workers at the hair salon, but now that I have the CD, I love it. I think for some people it's one of those shows that just needs a little time, and it really takes some time to grow on some people. And now, even though I hardly liked it a week ago, I'm going back because I love the music so much, and now the story makes sense to me.

So I say, see it and/or get the CD
I honestly havn't met someone who doesn't like the cd.

Having seen it Off-Broadway last year, I'm curious how much difference there is in the Broadway production? Were there many changes? I felt the script needed the most work and am curious if it was reworked to any great extent.

the book still SUCKS, patash.

they cut three songs (didn't they??) and reworked a few of the current songs but no huge changes... I believe. I can't remember.
