"In the Heights" off-Broadway question

"In the Heights" off-Broadway question#1

In reference to the off-Broadway production of "In the Heights" I ran into an actor that played a character named "Domingo." Is that a character that was cut or just a named ensemble member. If "Domingo" was a cut character, does anyone know how he functioned in the story?

The ensemble of the show has un-noted names. Luis Salgado's (now Marcos Santana) was Jose, and Nina Lafarga's (Women 1 track, now Sharona D'Ornellas) was Yolanda.

The "Domingo" track is the other guy who works in the dispatch (currently Noah Rivera).
