Incredible Roundabout Season!

Is anyone else extremely excited for Roundabout's Broadway season? The fact that they're giving us revivals of She Loves Me, Noises Off and Long Day's Journey all in one season is so exciting! I don't know much about Terese Raquin or Old Times (except that it's Pinter), but they also seem like they could be great. Not to mention the fact that each and every one of these shows has an amazing cast. Thank God for HipTix.

It is really wonderful!! I think I'm gonna get Hiptix Gold this season. Ive always been a fan of roundabout. Anything Goes, Drood, Cabaret, Violet, 20th Century, and now She Loves Me? YESSSSSSS

On paper, a very good season. We will see how it plays out. Roundabout can often drop the ball in execution.

I'm not familiar with She Loves Me, but I love The Shop Around the Corner. How does the musical hold up in comparison?

It's one of my favorite musicals! The score is terrific. You will love it.

^It doesn't appear to be. I feel like they would have announced it by now. I also doubt they'd have a vacancy for it in any of their theatres.

It's a fairly faithful and equally wonderful musical adaptation! If you love the movie and you love lush classical musicals you will love it.

SHE LOVES ME is the kind of jewel that only gets better and better the more you listen to it, the older you get, the more you think about it. I've never seen a production of it, but I listen to the music on a constant basis. I thought the original cast couldn't be matched by a Broadway revival and then Roundabout went and cast the brilliant Laura Benanti and Jane Krakowski. It's the must-see show of the season in my book.
