Interesting Documentary on Amateur Cats Production

I came across this interesting "mini-documentary" from the AP on an amateur production of "Cats" in Richmond, Va. Pretty cool show. And the backstage drama wasn't bad either! Ha.

Though I hate the show, this doc was very interesting. As a high school drama director I could relate to the frustration of both cast and crew. Thanks for posting.

I was involved in that production. I played Old Deuteronomy, and designed all the makeup. Yes, it was an interesting and wonderful experience. But for small-town Richmond, VA, we put on a beautiful and memorable production.

I hope this won't turn into a "I hate Cats" bashing thread. LOL

Looks really good! Was that a live orchestra or pre-recorded? If it was pre-recorded orchestra is it an option to rent when you get rights to the show?
