However, Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp, who play Mark and Roger, had the bad habit of taking the clothes Rodgers picked out and hanging them on hangers. “I went in and threw them on the couch!” she says. “I wanted these guys to pick up their clothes, put it on, and not look in a mirror, just like guys do — Does it stink? No? Then it's okay! I hope I accomplished that.” I love that!

I really did like the costumes a lot. And it's also cool, because some of the fashions are popular again right now, like those little skirts Mimi wore, and layering your clothes.

I honestly think the shirt Jesse wore in the final scene in the movie belongs to Adam pascal lol or they shop together.. I have a photo with Adam pascal from 1996 where he is wearing the same exact shirt. Random sorry.

Thanks for the article! It's funny I was just talking about this today at work after reading the designers bio last night. I really enjoyed the costumes in the film. I did notice changes in the costumes from the trailer footage and the final cut....yes that's how much of a costume dork I am. Joanne had on purple ugg type boots in LVB in the trailer. My first thought was those aren't really period! I loved Mimi at the engagement party. I want those blue metalic slouch boots and the matching spiral earrings! I'm a child of the 80's what can I say:)
