Posted: 2/12/05 at 12:41pmThey did a three minute capsule version of the story narrated by Tom Aldredge culminating in the Witch's transformation, then Phylicia Rashad led the company in CHILDREN WILL LISTEN and the final INTO THE WOODS reprise.

Theater has just this last year become a huge part of my life...I highly doubt this, but does anyone have the YAMCB performance?

Posted: 2/12/05 at 1:04pmSorry, I was actually reporting on the original cast at the '88 Tonys, but I think the revival cast did an almost identical segment. As for Charlie Brown, MY NEW PHILOSOPHY was sensational and the lady herself completely justified the inclusion of the new song.

I love both the original and the revival....
I think each had their highlights , I mean, Bernadette is a sheer comic brilliance but Vanessa all did her work to keep her witch away from Bernadette's which i totally commended her for. They both have ups and downs......
and the revival had Chris Seiber *drools*
