Posted: 6/4/05 at 2:39pmNothing has been announced yet, but with its resounding success in London I'm sure it will be here in a year or two.

I hope soooo.
Do you know where that thread is? I don't understand why it would be "untransferable."

ha, and there I was thinking it was going to be a long, drawn out explanation of why it wouldn't work on Broadway. I won't say it's not valid, but it looks like a bit of a snap judgement to me. Would've been better to say it would be difficult, not that it *can't* be done, which I don't really think was the poster's point, but it's a misleading statement... and an awfully big idea.

Posted: 6/4/05 at 4:21pmThe thread about it being untransferable does not take into account that a B'way version would be just that. A B'way version for Americans. Mark my words, this show WILL come to Broadway.

Posted: 6/6/05 at 10:03amYes, but in what form? The urge to meddle seems to be overwhelming in American producers - look at the mess made of Dance of the Vampries and Taboo to name but two shows which failed to replicate the success of their original productions (I don't include Bombay Dreams because that was crap to start with).
