Is Blackbird sold out?
#1Is Blackbird sold out?
Posted: 5/16/07 at 5:56pmI really want to see this show and there are not 2 tickets available online. Does this mean it is sold out or that no more tickets are being sold online? What are the chances of another extension?

Posted: 5/16/07 at 9:35pmYes, it is pretty much sold out (online at least) for the rest of the run. However, if you go to the box office on the day of the performance, you can usually get a good released house seat.

Posted: 5/22/07 at 5:37pmYou can also call CityTix. I did that this morning for tomorrow's show; they said to call back later. I did, and just my luck, 1 ticket was released for tomorrow's matinee.

He can't see what I'm writing, so if someone would kindly paste this:
No, they still have rush. You just need to show up when the box office opens and put your name on a waiting list. 90% of the time, you'll get a seat. Rush is $25, and you will be able to get it at the last minute as long as you're there early enough to put your name down. Just make sure you're around when they call the names. They do it in a very rushed and haphazard way, so listen up.

I called the box office today inquiring about student rush and the woman immediately told me "There are no student tickets for the rest of the run."
Was I misinformed?

I called this morning inquiring about rush tickets (as well as advance tickets) and was told to show up exactly at noon when they open...the tickets are whatever's available, sold up until an hour before the show. Nothing about them not having it or even having to sign up on a list.
