Yeah, the audience really wasn't into it very much tonight. I was laughing like mad though. I respect the cast so much for giving it their all to such a dead audience.
;-(
How can people not love Norbert and this entire brilliant cast.
It is so funny. I don't want to discuss the fabulous end to those that see it. It just kills me thinking about the last part with Norbert's appearance. I thought I would die from laughing so hard. (TEARS WERE ALL OVER MY FACE AND MASCARA WAS EVERYWHERE!)
Marylouise Burke just has to open her mouth for me to howl.
SAD.
If I had the money to save this brilliant, adorable play I would.
I wish the best to everyone involved with this hysterical play.

Here, here!
Having caught this fantastic farce last month, front row center, I can wholeheartedly attest to the disappoint and heavy hearts shared by other posters here. Here's hoping my idol, the incomparable Mr. Norbert Leo Butz as well as the rest of the stellar cast find other pieces to make solid use of these boundless and limitles talents.
How sad when critically acclaimed plays like this can't find an audience while critically panned crap like Grease, Young Frankenstein, Little Mermaid and Legally Bland survive.
It goes to show that the typical Broadway audience does not want to a show to think or go to a show that they don't already know the plot.
Some "Golden Age" of Broadway.
I think it was just the strike and competition. This show is a family show with heart. The marketing was trying to push the art side of the show when it is a very funny comedy.
I think there is a huge tourist market for this show and most people love it when they see it.
It is a shame but I am glad that I had the chance to see it two times. I am always sad to see brilliant theater close and loved each and every performer in IS HE DEAD. I hope it gets a lot of awards come award season. It was a thrill ride of fun.
I will miss it. Norbert better win the Tony this year. He deserves it.
It's too early to start handing out Tony Awards for Best Actor in a Play. With Patrick Stewart in Macbeth, Mark Rylance in Boeing-Boeing, and Ben Daniels in Les Liaisons Dangereuses waiting in the wings, that field is just heating up.

Some people on here have hit on the secret to keeping shows running. Rather than merely "thinking" about buying tickets, people should buy the tickets. The producers don't know what you're merely thinking about
Yeah you can imagine how happy I am...I will be in NYC in April and this is what I was looking forward to seeing. :|

Maybe come earlier. Before March 9th. It is worth it.
