Posted: 4/6/06 at 5:16pmJust thought I would put in a plug for Leigh's understudy and now replacement Gayton Scott. I saw the show with her in the lead and still thought the production overall was awesome. She's really great.

Considering all of the Lucille Lortel nominations this production just received, I'd think they would extend it now.
The show has already extended 3 times (it was originally slated to close January 
and will not extend again. The show will close on Saturday as scheduled. It hasn't had the same draw in the weeks since JJL left (it's regularly on TKTS and TDF now, which it was never on while Leigh was starring). Besides, The New Group needs the space for its next production, EVERYTHING'S TURNING INTO BEAUTIFUL w/Bobby Cannavale and Anabella Sciorra.

Jack: For your information, most people who meet me do not know that I am gay.
