Is Jennifer Jason Leigh still in Abigail's Party?

The play closes this week i think, but is she still in it? any reviews?

No, she left several weeks ago.

Just thought I would put in a plug for Leigh's understudy and now replacement Gayton Scott. I saw the show with her in the lead and still thought the production overall was awesome. She's really great.

Considering all of the Lucille Lortel nominations this production just received, I'd think they would extend it now.

It still appears as if Jennifer is still in the show on the off Bway section on BWW. That's why i wondered.

Considering all of the Lucille Lortel nominations this production just received, I'd think they would extend it now.

The show has already extended 3 times (it was originally slated to close January

and will not extend again. The show will close on Saturday as scheduled. It hasn't had the same draw in the weeks since JJL left (it's regularly on TKTS and TDF now, which it was never on while Leigh was starring). Besides, The New Group needs the space for its next production, EVERYTHING'S TURNING INTO BEAUTIFUL w/Bobby Cannavale and Anabella Sciorra.

Anabella is amazing, has anyone seen her in "Whispers in the Dark"? what a great movie!

She left the show the Saturday after the Academy Awards, but her understudy is GREAT!
