Hi everyone,
I was checking out the IBDB tonight and just wondering if any/all of the "Denver" Little Mermaid Cast is confirmed for starring in their roles on Broadway?
For some reason the entire cast of Denver is already credited for broadway. Is this confirmed?
Personally I can't imagine they'd be using this new Sierra girl for Broadway simply because the theatregoing audience has no past with her, but maybe I'm wrong.

The Denver cast is the Broadway cast.
The pre-Broadway cast is almost always the Broadway cast.
These abbreviations are KILLING me.
Can't people just type out the full name of the show?
It is so difficult to write PIRATE QUEEN, that people write PQ?
I mean, that one's fairly obvious to desipher, but some, I literally sit there and scratch my head.
I thought this was a LOVEMUSIK thread.
Haha I'm sorry about the mix-up.
I know they usually are but if you look at Ragtime a member was switched and same with Sunset Boulevard. (Now granted both of those shows never recouped) That's why I was wondering.
Nothing is set in ink for Broadway.
The ensemble who will be in fish head masks on Roller skates have not even been announced.
All the press releases have been in Denver newspapers and then picked up by other Theatre sources.
I doubt either Sierra or Sean have strong enough agents (yet) to insure they will be in their roles on Broadway.
That's why they are doing an out of town try-out.
Just my thoughts.

Sierra is listed on Broadway.com as part of the Broadway cast.
If Disney was unsure, they would have held off on it.
It's not even on Broadway yet.
And DISNEY has enough money to buy her out if she doesn't put out in Denver.
Hell, they replaced the entire creative team on AIDA out of town.

Nothing is ever confirmed until opening night on Broadway.

These misspellings are KILLING me.
Can't people just type out the correct spelling of the word?

I was so confused too. LoveMusik? Little Mermaid?
First thing that I thought of was Les Mis! I know, that's an abbreviation in itself, but at least you're not in doubt as to which show it is!
There's also a BWWer called LM, and a performer, Liam Mower...
That was hilarious StageManager2!!!!!!!
The ensemble who will be in fish head masks on Roller skates ...
Lord.
I can't even comment on that one.
However, with Piazza the cast changed from both out of town tryouts.
Though it's expected that the pre-Broadway tryout cast does arrive intact to Broadway, there are always the few cast members who don't make it to Broadway.
Stephanie J. Block bailed out of WICKED prior to it's arrival on Broadway to take that part in that little musical THE BOY FROM OZ. Also, Robert Morse and Kirk McDonald never made it to Broadway in WICKED.
Judy Kuhn only did the Los Angeles premiere of SUNSET BLVD. She was replaced by Alice Ripley when the show arrived on Broadway.
Same thing with the original actor playing Frankie Valli in JERSEY BOYS' pre-Broadway tryout at the LaJolla Playhouse -- some guy named John Lloyd Young replaced him when the show arrived on Broadway.
Solange Sandy and Natascia Diaz were both replaced during the last city of the pre-Broadway tryout of the 2005 revival of SWEET CHARITY, thus Janine LaManna and Kyra DaCosta were in the show when it arrived on Broadway.
Also, during the original pre-Broadway tryout of APPLAUSE, Penny Fuller replaced the original actress playing Eve Harrington, therefore she appeared in the show when it arrived on Broadway.
