I seem to remember hearing once that the revival of Noises Off was going to be a limited run with a set closing date, but when I checked the show's information on the IBDB, it does not list a closing date.
I'm planning a visit next year in the Spring (probably around late March to late April), and would like to see the production, as I've never actually seen it performed live on the stage. I've read the script, and seen the movie, and would like to see next year's revival.
So, am I mistaken about this being a limited run, or is it actually going to be an open run?
Considering that Roundabout has already announced LONG DAY'S JOURNEY INTO NIGHT after NOISES OFF in the same theater, it's safe to assume that it will not be an open run.
LDJIN begins previews March 31, so I'd guess NOISES OFF will close by March 19 at the latest. It's possible that it will do so well they will transfer it or move LDJIN to another theater, but as all their theaters are booked for the spring, I wouldn't count on it.

Not an open run. IBDB is not the best source for that kind of stuff, though Roundabout does not yet have the closing date on their site.
All not-for-profit productions tend to be limited runs. If anything, they just keep extending and having a tentative closing date such as Cabaret and South Pacific did. I wouldn't expect Noises Off to extend.
Lord I hope not.
Any story that survives merely on the "oh, if you had just gotten here 5 seconds earlier you would know exactly what happened but that slamming door sound you heard was them just leaving" doesn't deserve a lengthy run.
How I loathe this show.
