but there is a vulnerablility that we're supposed to see in her in "A Quiet Girl" and the reprise of "Ohio." Personally, I didn't see it. Also, I did not care for the way that she contorted her face at times. I would love to see her in a role that she is more suited to play!!! And, just out of curiosity, did you ever see Donna as Ruth?
Yes, I most definitely saw Donna as Ruth. I am one of the lucky ones.
As for Linda, I absolutely saw the vulnerability there. Did you actually watch her during the end "A Quiet Girl"? I really felt for her character. She cares for this guy, and she wants to tell him she can be that kind of girl too even though she seems to be on the outside the kind of woman who is able to take care of herself. I can definitely relate to that situation.
Anyway, I am not saying I didn't like Donna Murphy's performance. I liked it; I just happen to like Linda Mugleston's slightly more.
