Just wondering how many brave souls on this board are buying tickets this week and how far in advance for shows that are currently on strike...I almost did today, but as much as I'd like to be optimistic, I'm wondering if that's wise!

There is no risk. If the strike is still on you get refunded. I purchased 2 sets of tickets for early December this week as well as rescheduled a strike canceled Farnsworth ticket.

Ticketmaster suspended alot of their Broadway ticket buying.

great question -- i actually cant decide how i feel about this ...

i find myself wondering whether buying tickets online during the strike is the equivalent of crossing the picket line.

i never say never, but it's hard for me to imagine feeling right about crossing a picket line.

Try looking up a show on Ticketmaster:

My friend wanted to see Wicked in Feburary, I went to Ticketmaster and couldn't even look for it.

if i buy a ticket, i am engaging in commerce with a business which is being picketed by its employees. telecharge and ticketmaster are merely the business' agents ...

I already have three shows to replace tickets for and I plan on waiting until after the strike is over before I buy replacements.

Clumsy...tickets are cancelled mere days in advance, not months. There are seats available in February for Wicked.

How to properly use its/it's: Its is the possessive. It's is the contraction for it is...
