I'm not going because I have to save my money for other things but is anyone here going?

Why not?
The girl who plays Annie is good for someone her age. Here's a clip of her singing The Wizard and I (for some reason.) http://www.marissa-odonnell.com/song2.html
Sad that Okrent/Stroman's A CHRISTMAS CAROL doesn't play at the Garden anymore... I guess we'll always have RCMH Christmas Spectacular, and well THE GRINCH this holiday season.
I want to go see it. I like ANNIE, but hate children. I also cannot resist the potential train wreck that is Kathie Lee.
The Radio City show is horrid. I don't understand how or why people continue to see that.

If I get a free ticket I'll go. But I'm not thrilled about the Theatre at MSG. I don't think this show is big enough to fill the venue. That place is a cavern meant for concerts, not musicals.

I'll be going. The reviews have been mostly good.

Sadly, its our Drama Club's trip to NY to see this.
Last year it was WICKED.
Now, its ANNIE.
My Drama Club advisor made it out to be this big thing.
Its, ANNIE. I've been in ANNIE, in middle school.
Not that exicting.
I'm only going because:
1. Its NEW YORK.
2. A day off from school.

Give that girl, the green makeup.
Our next ELPHIE. :-p.
She's pretty good, I must say.
She's really good for a child my sister's age. {My sis is 11.}

ClumsyDude15:
If you're basing your opinion of the show on a lame middle school production you're not giving it much of a chance. This tour has gotten consistently strong reviews (why else do you think MSG contracted the show for their Christmas production?) and Kathie Lee Gifford fans and detractors alike will find her surrounded by a uniformly strong cast. I'm sure you and your group will have a good time. The most recent review is posted below.

"If you're over age 10 - 12 at the most - there's a natural instinct to roll your eyes at "Annie.""
True that.
Sounds promising.
I really shouldnt have been so critical but due to the fact there are other shows out there we'd all hoped she'd pick, when ANNIE appeared, we were like HUH?
Edit- But, deep down inside, when you think about it, ANNIE is a good choice for a December trip to NY. It fits the mood and such.
