I don't think either are particularly "avant-garde," but I guess in this limited comparison yes.

Not really. While they both have their unexpected uniqueness, I don't think one is more so than the other.
That being said, I don't really find either to truly be "avant garde".
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
