I just Spamalot for the first time.
Is the holy grail always located under seat D 101 for every performance?
Can customers pay for this exact seat when they purchase Spamalot tickets?

No. Sometimes it is A 101 and several other locations in that proximity.
No need to see that show anymore.

Nice way to spoil part of the show. You should think before you post, next time.

It's common knowledge by now.
Actualy, it wasn't.
I had no idea.
And now I do.
Thanks.
For the spoiler.

Either A101, B101, C101, or D101.
And its not "actually" there - in other words, if you look under those seats before the show, you won't find anything.

Yeah, I didn't know either. Is it the same at the Las Vegas show?
I had no idea either. Thanks a lot.
Don't put it in the freaking title.
I agree do not post spoilers in the subject line!
Believe it of not some people have not seen the show and are not aware of this spoiler. Thanks for spoiling the show as I am not aware of anything about the show, except the numbers I saw on TV during the Macy's Day parade.
As for Las Vegas, who knows if they will do the same thing. Here they should put it in 711 (if they have that number series).
Yours,
Carolyn
It's hardly a spoiler. Nothing about the show will be ruined by your reading about this before seeing it. Knowledge of the grail's location merely affects audience participation.
Some people like to go in fresh.

Make sure to shower then.
If you people actually care that the ending of Spamalot is ruined, you need to get out more.

Trust me, it really isn't that great a surprise. In a few years, it won't even matter because maybe the Shubert will be open for bigger and better things.
i didn't know either.
thanks a lot.
gawd, that is annoying.
way to ruin things. pfft.
poppinslionking, you really should be banned from the board for that. You could have said instead, "Spamalot question" in the title as opposed to giving everything away. But then again, you already saw the show, so who cares about the people who haven't, right?
It's not a big plot point anyway. Why is everyone so upset?
To answer your question, they're search for the grail throughout the show. Now that one knows the general location, you kind of realize they're going to come upon it sooner or later.
Seriously, how many of you were actually planning on seeing the show some time soon?
I know I've gotten upset when someone spoils the endings of movies and at first I'm thinking, 'GOSH, what is your problem?! You ruined the movie.' Then I think to myself, 'Wait, I haven't seen this movie yet, and I don't have plans to see it any time soon' and I move on. It's really not the end of the world.

Wouldn't you expect them to anyway? Not finding it would make for a pretty bland musical....oh wait.
C - you took the words right out of my mouth (regarding the show in general).

****SPOILER****
In the original movie, they didn't find it. And the original movie wasn't bland.
Yeah, I haven't seen Spamalot either, and I didn't know that.
Quit being rude and just admit you made a mistake, own up to it, and change the freakin' title so it doesn't affect other people's enjoyment of the boards.
You don't have a leg to stand on, you were wrong.
