Does anyone know if there's a discount code for "Legally Blonde" yet? On Broadway Box there's one listed, but when you enter the word in the Ticketmaster page for the performance you want, it doesn't work.
If anyone has it, could you PM me, or post it on this thread?
Thanks so much!

From BroadwayBox:
Tickets go on sale to the public on February 25, 2007. Please do not try to reserve tickets before this date. Currently tickets are not on sale.

The discounts are smaller than others on Bway Box
Will wait for TDF which always comes thru in a crunch

Does anyone know what the discount code for "Legally Blonde" is?
The one that was on broadwaybox.com wasn't good.....it's since been removed.
Thanks

It would appear that for the moment the discount code is "pay full price".
According to BroadwayBox.com this means the show is selling well.

No, that's not correct. When you go to the Ticketmaster page to purchase your tickets, there's a section where you can enter the discount code on the specific date that you want to see it.
For example.....if you pull up "The Lion King," there's no section to enter a discount code.
Hopefully, someone will find out what it is, and post it on this thread.
Thanks

Posted: 2/26/07 at 11:46amIF you remember the discount was until MAy 6 and the discount/promo code area is only good until then after that this section does not show up. So therefore, to me that means there is a code out there.

Hi, Phillyguy--
Check out other threads about this on this board and All That Chat today! Basically, what's been happening is that if you show up in person, the box office apparently will honor the Early Bird code and that if you call Ticketmaster a bazillion times, you may find an agent who will break the rules and give you the discount. There ARE indeed other codes, but they won't tell you what they are, and none of us have been able to get them ANYWHERE. I rang Ticketmaster a half-dozen times and couldn't get 'em to do anything for me, but others swear they have been helpful and given them discounts anyway. One person on ATC even said a customer service rep gave her a $60 ticket over the phone with another code that was in the system, just to be nice, but this is hard for me to believe... Thank God I'll be in NYC Wednesday AM and can just go myself because otherwise it's ridiculous!

I saw the early bird code last week & didn't print it out cause I figured I'd get the tickets online, never expecting they'd remove it. I'm not paying $110 for a ticket. Is there any way to get a copy of it now that it's gone (to bring to the BO?)
Or else I'd rather wait til a discount pops up - and it will eventually.

Hi--
The code finally emerged on the other thread for this: it's simply VISA, and you can use it on the phone or online or at the box office. I got a couple of 10th row orchestra tickets for $60 each before service charges, and didn't even use a Visa card! Enjoy...

I had a friend in NY buy tickets for me at the box office today, and here's what he reported:
All the orchestra seats were sold out for the matinee Saturday April 28th.
They will only honor the VISA code if you pay with a VISA card (I've heard this isn't the case online) The lady at the box office said that the "Early Bird" code doesn't take effect until March 8th, that had been a mistake on the website. She used some other code to sell $110 front Mez tickets for 65.50.
Omigod, I can't wait to see it! I hope Bruiser doesn't have an understudy that day!

Posted: 2/28/07 at 3:58pmI used the VISA code yesterday on the Ticketmaster site. My Ticketmaster account that I've had for many years, has my American Express as my befault method of payment. So, you don't have to have a VISA card in order to use the code online. If you go to the box office directly, you may have to have an actual VISA card.
